The Legendary Lioness of Love
At the age of 12, she glanced into the eyes of a complete stranger begging for food and money outside a church in France whilst on a family holiday. In that moment, which she can recall as if it was yesterday, she saw the most electric, most alive, and yet the tenderest gaze as far as she is concerned, that moment changed her life forever! Her experience with that complete stranger, became a torch of light, a reference point, it became her hope and her faith as she moved through her most turbulent teenage years.

In 1996, life threw a few curve balls, and all that was perfect and "special" in her life, crashed all around her. She entered a twilight zone, with only that Divine memory in her heart. She prayed and reflected as she moved through a traumatic, yet liberating 3 years. There were challenges and obstacles, and even terrifying moments, but as a caterpillar must turn into a butterfly, so karma had it in for Julie, as she transformed into Siri Datta.

In turn we will become happy as we discover that the best way to uplift our own lives is to do all we can to uplift the lives of others'. *

Roma Van Antwerpen

"The difficulty we have in accepting responsibility for our behaviour lies in the desire to avoid the pain of the consequences of that behaviour"

Kundalini Yoga found Roma in 2007 and led her to study the Spiritual Art as taught by Yogi Bhajan. She studied with SKY under the guidance of Amir Jaan, Guru Dharam Singh, Darryl O'Keef, Pavllou Landraagon, and Siri Datta. This was her first real introduction into the different aspects of Yogic Science.

The first noble truth of the Buddha states in short that life is suffering, we need to understand this and realise that by escaping reality we are only putting off truly living. Something Roma is all too familiar with, as I am sure each and every person who reads this will resonate with. Therefore, it is time to develop our inner wisdom (our tuition from within), our self-control, discipline and the use of the neutral mind, lifting the veil of illusion to rediscover our selves.

As long as Roma can remember she has been in search of her True Self, peeling back the layers to find the stillness, with a genuine desire and willingness to help others. In this hunt for Truth she has completed various qualifications in subjects such as Reiki, Bioenergy (Raphayad) and Neurolinguistic Programming. Intrigued with working on reprogramming the mind, positive affirmations have been an instrumental part of her life too.

A recent curiosity has guided Roma towards the sacred art of sound healing. She has newly completed a Gong Therapy course and introduces this sacred instrument in her Yoga classes.

Roma has a radiance that casts light upon the long night like the effervescent brilliance of the moon, and an endless gratitude flows from the lucky ones who are blessed to bask in the light that shines from her.

Roma brings a much needed feminine quality to her classes, and is eternally grateful for the opportunities which constantly present themselves.

Join Roma as she works as an instrument with a desire to serve others, reawakening their inner beauty and light.
